Our History

Building The Future While Celebrating A Rich Past.

Liquidmetal Industrial Solutions is proud of our ability to adapt to a continually changing market.  In the past, we developed a superior line of erosion and corrosion materials, and in October 2024, we sold our Coatings and Materials Divisions to Integrated Global Services, Inc. (IGS) so we could be solely focused on providing exceptional Mechanical, Inspection, and Sandblasting solutions. With this renewed focus, we are rebranding ourselves as Liquidmetal Industrial Solutions. Our legal structure, team, commitment to safety, and standards for quality service remain unchanged, reinforcing our dedication to delivering tailored, high-quality solutions to our industrial customers.

2025
Expanding Services to Meet Evolving Customer Needs
In 2025, we streamlined our operations by discontinuing our coatings division to focus on expanding our mechanical, inspection, sandblasting, and weld overlay services. We opened a new office in Linn, West Virginia, offering on-site X-ray inspections for the oil & gas and power generation industries. Our capabilities have also grown to include thermal inspections for combined-cycle facilities and the installation and replacement of expansion joints. Our Waste-to-Energy division has seen significant growth, allowing us to better serve clients with specialized solutions. Notably, in 2025, we successfully completed a major boiler project valued at over $10 million.
